London, UK, 24th January 2023 - dnata Travel Group has announced that Colin Currie will move in to a newly created role as Head of Retail – UK & Scandinavia at Yalago from 1st March 2023, following 14 years working across a variety of roles supporting the group’s B2B brands and businesses.

In his new role, Colin will report to Yalago’s General Manager, Astrid Kastberg, and continue to be based in his hometown of Glasgow. Kastberg commented: “We’re excited to be bringing someone with Colin’s knowledge and expertise in to the Yalago team as we accelerate our growth journey. He’s highly respected across the UK travel industry and I’m really looking forward to seeing him apply the energy that’s driven such a successful career with dnata Travel Group’s B2B brands in the UK to Yalago, as we bring more and more clients on to the platform and expand globally. This new role and challenge for him is another
great example of the opportunities for progression and career advancement that are available when you work in an organisation like dnata.”

Karen Fletcher, Trade Partnerships Director at dnata Travel Group B2B said: “This is a great opportunity for Colin and we all wish him lots of success. Over the 14 years he’s been with us, his professionalism and enthusiasm have been critical in helping us to build and maintain excellent relationships with our agent partners across the UK, and I know he’ll be missed by everyone here.

“Our Trade Partnership Team is rightly regarded as one of the best in the industry by the people who matter most to us – travel agents - and we look forward to deepening our valued relationships with them as travel continues its return.”
