dnata Travel Group appoints Simon Woodford as VP Global Air Services and Distribution

Dubai, UAE, 2 December - dnata Travel Group has appointed Simon Woodford as VP Global Air Services and Distribution, effective immediately. He has worked in the Group as Director - Air Supply since 2015 leading a multi-site team responsible for growing air revenue, and previously held senior positions with Stella Travel Services UK (which was subsequently acquired by dnata), STA Travel and Air France.

In his new role, Simon will assume responsibility for the air teams in Dubai as well as the UK, with a remit including strategic alliances, revenue management, GSA air and distribution, He will also lead technological innovation efforts to meet the changing needs of modern distribution and retailing of air supply. He will report directly to John Bevan, DSVP, dnata Travel Group.
