dnata Travel: Last-minute Eid Al Fitr bookings in demand for 2025
Dubai, UAE, 26th March 2025: As the highly anticipated Eid Al Fitr break for 2025 fast approaches, dnata Travel is revealing latest booking trends and a range of last-minute holiday offers for UAE travellers. Travel demand from the UAE continues to grow, and overall bookings for dnata Travel – both international and domestic – have increased by 55% this year compared to the previous Eid holiday travel period in 2024.
As of this week, the most popular international destinations for bookings over Eid Al Fitr 2025 from the UAE are the Maldives, Thailand, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and France, respectively. Meanwhile, Vietnam, Japan, Spain, and Turkey are seeing the highest year-on-year growth in demand.
Last-minute staycation bookings are on the rise, now accounting for 23% of total bookings, up from 10% previously reported in February.
