Dubai-based Yalago exhibits at WTM London 2023 amidst growth in international travel bookings from the UK
- Yalago reports 50% growth in travel bookings from its largest source market, the UK, with strong pick up also being recorded from India, USA and Italy in 2023 compared to 2019 levels
- Thailand is the top-booked destination across all source markets for 2023 so far, amidst a resurgence in travel to Southeast Asia
Dubai, UAE, 2 November 2023: Yalago, part of the Emirates Group and one of the world’s fastest-growing leisure accommodation wholesalers, has recorded a 50% increase in hotel bookings from travellers from the United Kingdom in 2023, compared to the same timings in 2019.
Historically driven by the UK market, the source market mix of the Dubai-based leisure wholesale specialist has also expanded further in 2023 to a more global presence. Known for its market-leading accommodation rates, Yalago has also seen strong growth from travellers from Spain, India, the USA and Italy.
Globally, Thailand is the top-booked destination across all source markets for 2023, amidst a resurgence in travel to Southeast Asia. Indonesia and Singapore are also trending, whilst the UAE continues to grow in popularity. Comprising its ‘top ten’ most popular travel destinations for hotel bookings this year so far are Thailand, UAE, Spain, Indonesia, USA, Italy, Singapore, Egypt, Turkey and France.
